Poor Jeff is surrounded by estrogen. We agreed to get him a male dog as soon as we move back to Reno.
Better luck next time Honey!

everything is healthy and happy in there! (head and heartbeat)

Since there's nothing sticking out, it looks female to us.
The doctor showed us a better pic after we got our souvenir disc.

The Old Wives' Tale it All!

What are we having? Well, we will find out TOMORROW! I couldn't wait, so I took matters into my own hands and performed some wives' tales to see what they said...

I also took an online survey and it said:
53% chance of a boy 47% chance of a girl
http://www.babygenderprediction.com/old-wives-tales/index.phtml

Here are the tests:

1. Mix your own urine with a tablespoon of drano. If brown or blue it is a boy, if green it is a girl. Green- Girl

2. Go by your parents history. What did your mother have? What position are you in the children. . . 1, 2, 3rd. If you are the first born, you will have what your mother had but starting with the second, then third, then first. If you are the middle child, you will have 3, 2, 1. But if you are the last child, you will have exactly what you mother had .
I am First, therefore girl, boy, girl- BOY

3. Has your husband gained sympathy weight? Yes - Girl

4. Are you carrying the baby high or low? Low- Boy

5. Is your skin dry or soft? Dry- boy

6. Previous Child’s first word? Mama- Girl

7. Is your hair fuller or thinner? Thinner- Girl

8. Have you gained weight in your butt or front? Front - Boy

9. Add your age + conception month? Even number - Boy

10. Do you crave sweet foods or salty? Sweet- Girl

11. Were you morning sick? No- Boy

12. Are your feet colder than usual? No - Girl

13. Do you feel prettier or uglier pregnant? Uglier - Girl

14. Do you sleep with your head North or South? North - Girl

15. Do you have more acne? No - Boy

16. According to the Chinese Lunar Calendar http://www.webwomb.com/chinesechart.html ? Boy

17. The Mayans determined the sex of the baby by taking the mother's age at conception, and the year of conception. If both are even or both are odd...it's a girl. If one is even and one odd it's a boy. Both Even- Girl

18. Dangle your wedding ring over your belly. Is ring moving in a circle or back and forth? Back and forth movement – Boy

19. Mom's intuition?  BOY

20. Father's intuition? boy

RESULTS:

11/20 BOY!!!!

guess we will find out tomorrow!

Wedding Memories

I am posting these songs so that I can remember what we walked down the aisle to and also what our first dance was to. I love listening to them, and figured I would share with you too.

Thanksgiving

We had so much fun in Reno over the holiday. I dreaded the probable 8 hour drive it would take to get there, but since we left really late Wednesday night, it only took the usually amount of time. (whew!) We did get to witness some frightening temperatures because it was so late:

The chilliest I have ever seen in Reno

Grandma and Grandbabies
(Claire's shirt says "Everyone Is Thankful For Me" hehe)

Claire in pigtails= pure hatred for mom

But she sure is cute in them!

We also watched the UNR -v- Boise Game.

THE . BEST. GAME. EVER.

So proud of my school.
For those who don't know about the game of the season (yes, that's right),
here's an article:

Apple Hill Fun!

It will forever be a tradition in our family to venture to Apple Hill every year in October. We met our friends from Reno over Halloween weekend, and had a blast! How could you not with apple pie, cider, wine, (I smelled every glass Jeff had ) and beautiful views!

UNLV Golf Tournament

We went to Vegas this weekend so that Jeff could play in the UNLV Dental School's golf tournament with his brother and friend. They also played with a couple of recruits and were a stellar team. They won, with a score of 56! Way to go team!

Joanna's Baby Shower

It's always fun when we girls can get together sans kids. This night we went to the Cheesecake Factory to celebrate Joanna's second baby. Our Group was so big this time, we had to take a picture from both sides.

We are excited for you Joanna! Congrats!

Tide Pooling

We FINALLY made it to the Tide Pools at Crissy Field this past month. They were few and far in between, but we had fun none-the-less.

Wonderful view of the Golden Gate bridge

Yep that's mud on her mouth! Yum!

Finally Fall!

Fall has to be the best season ever. The smells, colors, and weather can't be beat! I took Claire to Arata's Pumpkin Patch again this year. This time she could explore all the pumpkins and helped me pick out some good ones. We will truly miss the oppotunity to make this a yearly tradition and will have to find something like it near Reno.
