Sacramento Zoo Revisited

Aubrey and I planned a fun trip to Sac town at the end of April, not only for us and the girls but also for the boys. Thanks to Groupon, we were able to get 2 rounds of golf for $35, and I found a livingsocial to the zoo for an unbeatable price. The boys went golfing and we revisited the zoo. The girls had even more fun than last time. We rode the train, saw most of the animals, and hit up Fairytale Town after. If we lived a little closer, we would certainly have a membership!

Easter Weekend

The Masters were on. We had Ham and other yumminess. We went to Church. Had a great Brunch. 

The usual... It was so much fun! 

The Easter Bunny brought baskets for all three girls, full of candy, coloring books and hello kitty items. He must have been so tired because he forgot to hide the eggs. Good thing Mom and Dad had time to do it during the girl's naps! Claire had a blast finding the eggs in our backyard. Cadence even found one! 

We had brunch with Grandpa David and Catherine and Scarlett. Then Scarlett ended up going to the doctor because she was under the weather. :-( So they missed out on dinner. But the Fleming clan came over and we had some delish ham and homemade scalloped potatoes. Nothing finishes up a night like Apple to Apples, which Matthew won. Overall, Easter was a success!

Dyeing Easter Eggs

We dyed eggs the weekend before Easter because I knew how crazy our Easter weekend would be. Aubrey and Talia came over, as well as Grandma Susan and Catherine and Scarlett. Claire had fun for about 10 minutes, then gave up until the eggs dried and we could put stickers on them. Thanks to Talia, all eggs were successfully dyed. Regardless, all the girls had fun, and it was great to watch the different amounts of patience they each had for keeping the eggs in the dye.

Sweet Sweet Baby!

Miss Kerrigan Marie Porter was born this past Sunday (no that is not an April Fools joke :-)). I feel like I have another niece to add to my list. I am so happy for one of my best friends and you can bet that I have been by to visit them everyday. :-) Gotta get my baby fix until we decide to have another one, ya know!
