Last week, we met up with one of the wives from dental school at the Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch. It's about forty minutes from us, between Phoenix and Tucson. The girls had a blast feeding all the animals (or rather throwing food at them), and the highlight was the Lorikeet Forest. It was super cheap. I had to pay for myself, and the price came with feed for the animals and nectar for the birds. It was also fun to meet up with Melissa, and catch up on time since dental school.

| "Why can't you feed me out of your hand?" |
 |
| "Because I like to stay this far away from you!" |
 |
you have to put the food in those cups and roll it up the conveyor belt. Claire's favorite part... |

I am helping Claire a little, but she was not afraid of the birds at all. It was super cute! |
