Meet me downtown...

It's already in the 100s here! Yikes. I certainly did not welcome this weather with open arms. To compensate for hot, hot heat during the day, one of the big running organizations puts on a nighttime 5k in downtown Tucson. We had to check it out for sure. We were so late in signing up for the 5k, so we decided to do the free 1 mile family run/walk. Kelly and Josh joined us in the fun, and I was so amazed to see seven and eight year olds running so fast! Claire even ran about a quarter of it with Jeff and me. It was a blast and next year we will sign up for the big event!
