Family Staycation

During the summer, tourism is a bust in Tucson, because, let's face it, who wants to vacation in 100+ degrees in the desert? We, as locals, take advantage of the cheap, cheap rates the hotels offer here and go enjoy their pool for the weekend. Cheap room + resort credit + cool pool = STAYCATION.

One thing we checked off our very small summer bucket list (newborn, ahem) was go to the Starr Pass Resort and enjoy their fun pool and the best pina colada in town (virgin or not). The girls had a blast, and Ceci actually slept 5 (!) hours that night! Jeff even took Claire "golfing" 9 holes. And, the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum brought some animals to check out one night.  It will be a repeat event for sure.
