The Birthday party

Claire is one already! We can't believe that people are actually right when they say time goes by too quickly. I feel like I should have held her more when she was teeny-tiny, especially since she won't have any of that now.

We celebrated her birthday at Lafayette Park here in San Francisco. A bit of a windy day, but made fun, thanks to friends and family.

Claire is one!

It's amazing how a whole year has gone by so quickly! We love our little "bear" more than anything!

Milestones:

• You took four steps three days ago!


• 6 teeth, with two molars popping through.


• You have more hair than you did even a month ago, but mommy cant wait to put it into pigtails!


• You refuse to let anyone feed you= big mess. I have resorted to buying a lot of "Plum Tots" baby food and letting you make a big mess at home.


• You say "mama" "dada" puppy "Brady" "bu-bye" "baby" "nana" (which means food no matter what you eat), "no" "dah" (aka dog), "uh-oh"and you LOVE LOVE LOVE to squeal!


• You refuse to stay in your tub seat.


• You love Brady (our dog) perhaps more than she loves you. Or maybe it's all that hair-pulling that makes her avoid you?


• Swinging is your favorite pastime.


• You have started singing the wheels on the bus with Mommy!

Break Time!

We had a relaxing time for Jeff's month off. Aside from getting married (still waiting on pictures), we spent a week in Reno and the rest in our city. Claire picked up 3 new things this past month:

1. Clicking noises with her tongue (so CUTE!)

2. She is a cruiser!

3. Another tooth!

She also found out that dog food can be eaten by people, and we strive everyday to keep her from discovering that again. Lovely...

I can finally put a bow in her hair!

Jeff Turned 26 on the 8th. He celebrated with some golfing practice and relaxation, followed by a yummy dinner at Outback.

Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day by getting MARRIED! yep, that's right! I am OFFICIALLY a Spillers, although I always felt like one! It was a blessing to have so many friends and family help us celebrate. Pictures to come soon, but here is a sneak peek!

Memorial Day Weekend

It was a fun filled weekend for us. There is always something to do in the bay!

Saturday, we went to the Crawfish boil the Alumni of the dental school put on every year.

I enjoyed the crawfish, and Jeff enjoyed the corn and potatoes and beer.

Sunday we had a relaxing day, and walked the city. Then, Sunday night we enjoyed WICKED at the Orpheum. I had been wanting to go since Jeff moved here for Dental School. With friends in town, it was the perfect excuse.
