Anyway, we had a fun Father's Day weekend with all the water surrounding us. The River Festival was happening so we went downtown to check it out, and it did not disappoint. There were crazy kayakers daring the rapids and dogs doing 50 foot jumps into the pool. (the girls especially loved this one). I am so glad to live in a place that has at least one event going on each weekend.
Sunday, we spent at Lake Tahoe. It was a gorgeous 80 degrees, but that meant the water was somewhere around 50 degrees. So we opted to stick our toes in the sand, and that was it.
