So-Cal Fun- Disneyland!

I love, love, love the happiest place on earth! It brings back so many memories from my childhood. Growing up in Las Vegas, and with cousins in Bakersfield, we went there a lot. So, now, living in a city that is an easy drive away, I hope I can give our children the opportunity to go often. This was already Claire's third trip, but the first memorable one for her.

Lucky for us, some of Jeff's family lives in Anaheim and Irvine, so we stayed with his aunt, and had a fun-filled vacation.

We only went to Disneyland, and for one day. It was nice to not have to cram everything into that one day. And though we didn't visit Cars Land and Ariel's Grotto, we did PLENTY! Claire wanted to go on every ride imaginable. Cadence was just calm and cheerful as usual. Graham had a great time too, especially in Toontown. And, Sharon was sweet enough to take the girls home late in the afternoon, and let Jeff and I complete the night alone.

It started off rocky, since I came up with a little bit of heat stroke, but once that was over, we rode some of the rides. We also ate at Uva bar in Downtown Disney, and watched Fantaasmic, the fireworks show in Disneyland. We completed the night with a tour of the haunted mansion, and made our way back. Altogether, it was a fun trip, that turned out to be stress-free.
